A message from Children’s Cancer Institute
This week 20 families will find out their child has cancer. So, we need to keep working to find cures.
As the only independent medical research institute in Australia solely dedicated to childhood cancer, it’s vital we carry on our mission of curing every child of cancer.
We’re currently assessing our events in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic. At the moment, we hope to proceed with CEO Dare to Cure as planned with a new date of Friday 23 October. If the Fleet Steps event cannot be held due to COVID- 19 restrictions, we will be holding an exciting virtual event on the same day. Therefore, registrations are still open and we would you love to sign-up to take on a dare.
Rest assured your safety and that of the wider community is our priority. During this uncertain and challenging period, we have made some changes to ensure we can continue our life-saving research whilst protecting our team supporters and the wider community. You can find out more about them here.
Your contribution is more vital than ever to ensure we can move towards our shared vision for all kids with cancer. If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to contact Briony in the Dare to Cure team on Bharris@ccia.org.au
Thank you for your support and stay safe.
